Hello! I know, I haven't been active lately because my household had a virus circulating around for two weeks. It started off with my little sister and she transferred it to my Mom, to my future my brother in-law, to my sister, and everyone else expect for my Dad and Bear Bear (dog). Then, last week my oldest sister's husband was in the hospital right after his graduation. I also had super bad stomach cramps last week and this earlier week. The past two weeks were pretty chaotic BUT Black Friday totally just lifted up my mood. ^o^
I bought A LOT of stuff. I already have more than half of the people on my list done and wrapped. I've been super excited for Christmas ever since the beginning of October and I'm sure I'm not the only one. >_< My birthday is also coming up (Dec.22) so I'm in a pretty good mood. :) What did you get during Black Friday?
Anyways, I know I'm late with this makeup look. I posted a "preview" on my instagram about 2 weeks ago and never got the chance to redo the tutorial but here it is! Better late than never right.
This month from Uniqso, I ordered SKIN79 Hyaluronic Cushion in #23 Natural (oh my gosh, I LOVE this cushion!), Sweety Nudy Ice Brown (UNIQSO's circle lens brand), Solone Captivating Dolly Liquid Eyeliner, and Stella Eyelashes Natural Prime 2015. With all of these items I decided to create a Japanese Igari makeup look. I will tell you my thoughts on the products after the tutorial. Also for my MIA-ness, I made this tutorial a bit more fun to read. Hope you enjoy! :)
Stella Eyelashes Natural Prime 2015 - (sorry no photo because it lighting was too dark) Anyways, I thought these lashes were going to be more natural looking on my eyes, but they look more dramatic natural. You know what I mean? It's natural but dramatic. I dunno but the look is nice. The only thing I dislike about this lash series is that the lash band is super thin so you have to be careful with them if you want to wear them more than once. Other than the lash band they lash style is pretty.
Sweety is Uniqso's own circle lens brand and I'm so proud of them that they finally launched their very own brand. :) The packaging is super duper kawaii. :3 One thing I really want to talk about is the lens packaging. Like, when do you ever see lens that last a full year not in those little annoying to open bottles? They're packaged in those rectangle peel off thick plastic things that monthly or daily lens are in and I love those because they're easy on the fingers and to open. <3
I picked Sweety Nudy Ice Brown, which has a black rim on the outer edges and a light yellow brown in the middle with little blue in the center. I thought the design was unique and wanted to give it a try. The color is darker than what I was expecting it to be and although the size is 14.5mm the black rim gives it the appearance of 15mm. These lens gives my eyes a HUGE enlargement so, if you want cute deer like eyes I highly recommend these lens for you.
I think the lens thickness is pretty thick. I wore these lens for about 8 hours and when I took them off I felt that refreshing feeling of "Ah, my eyes could finally breathe." Ya know? Other than the thickness, these lens are great for those who are into dolly makeup.
Next up is Solone Captivating Dolly Liquid Eyeliner. The packaging is super super cute! >o< The color is super black and pigmented. The tip is awesome, it's easy to create thin and thick lines. I absolutely love using this eyeliner for out lining a wing liner. It makes my wing liner 10 times better because the edges are so clean. Highly recommend this liner if you're in the market for a jet black dark than black liquid eyeliner.
Finally! Saving the best for last, SKIN79 Hyaluronic Cushion in #23 Natural. This is seriously the best SKIN79 face makeup product I've tried. It doesn't have an ashy color like their "best selling" bb creams, instead it has a warm tone yellow base which is great for Asian skin! You have to, have to, HAVE to try this cushion! The coverage of this cushion foundation is AMAZING! I only need ONE thin layer to cover my red cheeks and nose and dark spots. It evens out my skin so much. It has a satin finish that gives your skin a natural looking glow. It looks great in person and in flash photography. It's also moisturizing, as it claims. I wasn't expecting much from longevity because of it's moisturizing properties but I was wrong. I wore this foundation for over 8 hours and it looked like I just applied my makeup. Not even kidding. I HIGHLY, HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend you to try out this cushion because it's amazing. I don't really see sites carrying SKIN79 products but I'm super glad that Uniqso carries them! It's also on sale for $26.90! Plus, you can also use a few discounts below to save yourself money. Who doesn't like saving money? :)
The angry cat sheet mask was a gift and I will tell you my thoughts on that when I get the chance to try it out! :)
